Superhero Squad

I have to say I'm impressed too!  But thanks to Williams-Sonoma they made these cookies a breeze (ok not a breeze, but a LOT easier than I thought!)  I learned who all of these super heros were as I was about to decorate them- I did know Spiderman and I thought the green one was the Hulk.  I just didn't know they were so scary looking.  The blue one is Captain America and the other is Ironman.

The birthday party theme is Superhero Squad, but they were also having girls attend so I made some bat girls too.

Ruffles Anyone?

Love, love, love how this elegant ombre ruffle cake turned out.  Variations of my favorite Wilton Sky Blue color is very pleasing to the eye.  My last sweet Mother's Day treat to myself...before DISNEY!

180 Onesies! ....Yes 180!

It has been a busy week of decorating cookies!  These cookies are for a baby naming ceremony.  There are 180 cookies with various designs on the onesies, then individually wrapped and tied with satin ribbon.

Farm Smash Cake

I just finished a small smash cake for a 2 year old birthday party that is at a petting zoo.  The customer sent me a picture of the invitation and wanted the cake to go along with it.  I LOVE how this cake came out...hopefully it doesn't get smashed to pieces!!  I usually cover my cakes in fondant, but since it's for smashing, fondant wouldn't do so well.  So this is a yellow cake with buttercream frosting with fondant pieces.
